Map of German Institutes
The German Institute in Venice was part of a broader network coordinated by the "Kulturpolitische Abteilung" at the Foreign Office in Berlin. Franz Alfred Six, the branch leader, served as trait d'union between SS, RHSA, and Ribbentrop's Ministry. The Map shows where, according to Guido Hausmann, such Deutsche Institute existed.
